Obituary of Carroll Anderson

Of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mrs. Julie Palladeno will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the AlzheimerAaas Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Carroll "Andy" was born February 25, 1924 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll and Betty Anderson Sr. Carroll AaA"AndyAaA was the owner of Andy's Towing in Flint. "Here Comes Andy". He retired from Fisher Body. Carroll AaA"AndyAaA enjoyed listening to Tiger's Baseball Games, loved going up north to his property and working in the garage. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Phyllis; eight children, Duane, Jerry, William, Barbara, Sue, Deborah, Sandra, Sherri, two special grandchildren, Billy, Julie and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers, Howard and Larry. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge #23 as well as a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Betty.
