Obituary of John Wescoat

Of Mt. Morris, age 58, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2:00pm until 9:00pm. Then on Sunday 12:00 Noon until 9:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. John was born March 8, 1951 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Mary (Mankowski) Wescoat. He and Deborah Kay Corlew were united in marriage July 10, 1971 in Mt. Morris, Michigan. John worked at General Motors Flint Metal Fab. and was a member of the Local UAW # 659. John leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 37 years, Debbie, daughters: Kellie and husband Dave, Tracie and husband Larry, Beckie and husband Jeremy, grandchildren: Taylor, Robert, David, Trevor, Tannor, Coy, Blair and Noah, brothers: Ray and wife Sue, Jay and wife Becky, Tom and Gary and wife Doods, sisters, Joan, Kathy and husband Brad, Lori and Rena, father Lester Corlew and many wonderful nieces, nephews, friends and beloved dogs, Bandit and Bambi. He was preceded in death by his parents, mom JoAnn Corlew, brother Randy Corlew.
