Obituary of Eva Marie Howie

Of Flint, age 79, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00am until time of service at 2:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Eva was born April 18, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Gladys (Granger) DeRosier. She and James Robert Howie were united in marriage August 6, 1976. Surviving her is her husband, James Robert, sister, Doris and husband, Phillip Loiacano of Naples, Florida; daughter, Doris B. Tanner of Montrose, son, Richard F. and wife, Cheryl Salazar of Saginaw, son, Frank P. and wife, Susan Busnardo of Owosso, son, Gino A. and wife, Kathy Busnardo of Gastonia North Carolina, son-in-law, Michael L. Nord I of Millington. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friend, Virginia Salat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Gladys (Bosch) DeRosier, two daughters, Maria L. Nord of Millington and Rosemarie H. Busnardo of Flint and friend, Lillian Sturgill of Flint.
