Obituary of Lloyd L. Willis

Age 78, of Twining, died Monday, April 27, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will take place at 1:00pm on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 10:00am until 8:00pm Thursday and 10:00am until time of service on Friday. Jiggs was born September 6, 1931 in Twining, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Luella (Brown) Willis. Jiggs and Betty Reynolds were united in marriage on February 17, 1951 at the AuGres Methodist Church. Jiggs worked at Fisher Body #1 for over 38 years. He enjoyed family time, hunting, fishing, dancing, playing cards and Bingo. Surviving are his wife Betty of Twining; 3 Children, Gerald and Thelma Willis of Mt. Morris, Sherry and Robert Johnson of Clio and Sally and Ken Harrington of Mt. Morris; Grandchildren, Kim Jackson, Kelli Willis, Karri and Luke McLain, Bobby and Lisa Johnson, Jennifer and John Stewart, Kenny and Tara Harrington, Bradley Harrington; 11 Great Grandchildren, Hannah, Payton, Jacob, Emily, Matthew, Tyler, John, Kelsey, Dillon, Nickolas and Natalie; Siblings, Donald and Kate Willis, Jack and Betty Willis, Doris Rahn, Louise Sesler; many nieces and nephews.
