Obituary of Lorraine Belle Roth

Of Otisville, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at MediLodge of Montrose. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. LorraineAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Lorraine was born November 17, 1933 in Vassar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Cecelia (Gauthier) Smith. She and Kermit J. Roth were united in marriage August 12, 1950 in Mt. Morris. He preceded her in death in 1981. She enjoyed bowling, camping, senior citizen trips, trip to the casinos and shopping and gardening. Most of all, she loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched. Left to cherish her memory are his children; Rose Elliott, Katherine and husband Robert Wagner, Dale and wife Cindy Roth, Anna and husband Joseph Spencer, Donna Roth, 11 grandchildren; David, Stacie, Dale, Paula, Robert, Samantha, Jennifer, Joey, Adam, Kevin and Rachel, three great-grandchildren; Kylie, Heather and Logan, brothers and sisters; Rose and husband Bill Vanaman, Nola and husband Mike Pyles, June Beebe, Dan and wife Virginia Smith, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kermit, two sons; Kermit D. and Rodney Roth, and four brothers; Billy, Art, Ernest and Norman.
