Obituary of Carolyn Hall

Of Fairgrove, age 66, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at home. Carol was born September 7, 1943 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Florence (Connelly) Williams. She and Lyle Hall were united in marriage May 6, 1978. Carol was an EMT on the Fairgrove Ambulance, a former member of the Fairgrove Village Council, a member of the Fairgrove VFW # 7486 Ladies Auxillary, and a life member of the VFW National Home. She enjoyed playing BINGO, collecting bears, traveling, and spending time with her family, as well as her dogs. Carol leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 31 years, Lyle, eight children, Edward and wife Deborah Harrison, Timothy and wife Rebecca Hall, Terri and husband Patrick Bowers, Bryan and wife Jacquelyn Hall, Gerald and wife Patti Harrison, Don and wife Debbie Harrison, Randy Hall, and Kerri and husband Roger Zelmer, 26 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Sandra and husband Dennis Mendyk, Patricia and husband Thomas Volk, Albert Jr., and wife Mickey Williams, Brenda and husband Robert Somerville, and Robin and husband Robert Glaser, sister-in-law, Donagene Ewald and special friend Ray Root, many special nieces, nephews, and friends, and Bingo Buddies, Betty Nitz, and Donagene Ewald. She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother Mary Williams, son-in-law, Jeffrey Russell, and granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Harrison. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home - Fairgrove. Rev Leonard A. AstrowskiJr. will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove on Friday, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Saturday, from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscola County Relay for Life. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
