Obituary of Joseph Kozlesky

Of Grand Blanc, age 71, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dean Dumbrille will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 12:00noon until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Joseph was born May 12, 1938 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mary (Zavada) Kozlesky. He and his high school sweetheart, Ruth Ann Gossett, were blessed with two children, Stephanie and Joseph, Jr.; later, they were separated. He then met his better half, and soul mate, Carol Fechik and their lives were completed with each other. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol; two children, Stephanie Love, and Joseph and wife, Cheryl Kozlesky, Jr.; four grandchildren, Angela, Jessica, Sarah, and Joshua; one great-grandchild, Isabella; many members of the Kozlesky and Fechik families; beloved dog, Elvis; and several friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; and beloved dog, Wolf. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Hurley Medical Center and longtime friend and physician, Dr. Peddireddy.
