Obituary of Albert Yarrington

Of Flint, age 82, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 19, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 12:00noon, Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Pastor Doug Klein will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Graveside Military Honors. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday, from 12:00noon until 8:00pm. Bud will go to church to lie in state on Friday, April 21, 2010 from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00noon. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Albert was born October 19, 1927 in Stamwood, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Edith (Rorick) Yarrington. He and Edith Davis were united in marriage on July 15, 1966. Bud leaves to cherish his memory, his four daughters, Suzanne Pinkney, Kathy Robinette, Dianne Lutze, and Mary and husband, Alvin Friday; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother; five sisters; daughter-in-law, Bethany Lutze; beloved dogs, Diamond and Ruby; beloved cat, Black & White; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 36 years, Edith; son, Stephen Lutze; two brothers; and beloved dogs, Bobo, Chip and Ren.
