Obituary of Wayne Joseph Peplinski

Of Frankenmuth, age 53, died Monday, July 6, 2009. Wayne was born March 19, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Doris (O'Brien) Peplinski. He was a graduate of Vassar High School Class of 1974. He went on to complete 4 years of College earning a degree in Electrical Engineering. Wayne worked as an electrical engineer at Honeywell in Arizona and at Means Industry in Vassar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. Surviving are his mother, Doris A. Peplinski; siblings: Kenneth Peplinski, Diane Peplinski, Donna Tedford, Gerald A. (Frances) Peplinski, Douglas Peplinski, Mark Peplinski, Denise (Tony) Amend and Kevin Peplinski, all of Vassar; several nieces and nephews; many friends and relatives. Wayne was preceded in death by his father Gerald F. Peplinski and brother-in-law Michael W. Tedford. The funeral mass will take place 12:00pm Saturday, July 11, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar. Fr. William Bonnichi will officiate with burial to follow in Tuscola Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar 2:00pm until 8:00pm Friday. There will be a Rosary service at 8:00pm on Friday. Saturday morning Wayne will be taken to church to lie in state from 11:00am until time of services. Memorial Contributions may be considered for the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and at church. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home, at church or online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.
