Of Mt Morris, age 77, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his sonAaas home in Indiana. The funeral service will take place 12:00noon, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park with graveside military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #158. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Monday from 12:00noon until 8:00pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Premier Hospice of Indiana. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Raymond was born April 19, 1933 in Frost Township, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Ada (Compton) Keith. He and Florence Rothgeb were united in marriage August 6, 1955 in Flint. Raymond proudly served in the United States Naval Reserves and went on to work for 37 years for General Motors before retiring in 1991. Raymond leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Susan Keith, John Keith, Maureen and husband, Steve Garsteck; Tim and wife, Gloria Keith, and Colleen Keith and fiance, Ron Haywood; five grandchildren, Timothy, Steven, and Brian Keith, Robert Garsteck and Brianna Haywood; sister, Nancy and husband, Thomas Pritt; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Florence; and three brothers, Daniel and wife, Connie Keith, Albert and wife, Evelyn Keith, and Richard Keith.
