Obituary of Margie Marilyn Myers

Of Clio, age 89, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Maple Woods Manor. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. MargieAaas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Fenton Adopt-a-Pet or Friends of the Genesee County Animal Shelter. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Margie was born April 2, 1921 in Cass Lake , Minnesota the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Gerlean (Gardner) Davis. She and John Walter Bryson, Sr. were united in marriage in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death. Margie would later meet and marry Marshall Myers. He preceded her in death. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, her animals and helping others. Margie leaves to cherish her memory three children; Judith (Bill) Brodie, Cheryll Kuzava, and Linda Bryson and Joe Pintar, six grandchildren; Kevin Skidmore, David (Shawn) Bryson, Todd (Becky) Jackson, Kristi Whisenant, Darren Jackson, and Julie (David) Blake, nine great-grandchildren and two special nieces; Beth Stern and JoAnne Gonzalez. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, John Walter Bryson, 2nd husband, Marshall Myers, son, John Walter Bryson, Jr., five brothers; Bill, Jim, Gardner, Ron and Don and two sisters; Cleo and Pat. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Melissa Bentley, Kim, Irene and the entire staff at Maple Wood Manor.
