Obituary of Mollie Ann Allen

Of Prescott, age 67, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Covenant Health Care-Cooper. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, on Monday from 12:00noon until 8:00pm, and then on Tuesday from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mollie was born March 5, 1943 in Gaylord, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Mary (Clark) Wheeler. She and Lloyd Allen were united in marriage May 7, 1960. Mollie loved bingo and horses; she will be greatly missed and loved forever. Mollie leaves to cherish her memory, her four children, Tina Haynes, Patrick and wife, Jacqueline, Thomas and wife, Claudia, and Cheryl Tew; 11 grandchildren, Tonya, Amy, Brandon, Shawna, Keith, Justin, Joshua, Daniel, Melanie, Kristi, and Lexi; 7 great-grandchildren, Elijah, Maya, Amelia, Savanna, Cheyenne, Kaily, and Trey; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Mollie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, Lloyd; one brother; and two sisters.
