Obituary of Jeanette Ann Woods

WOODS, Jeanette Ann Of Flint age 60, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Philip Schmitter will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 6:00pm, followed by funeral service at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jeanette was born April 18, 1950 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Virginia (McGinty) Moran. She and Robert V. Woods were united in marriage August 10, 1973 in Flint. She was a kindergarden teacher at Holy Rosary Elementary School for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and was so proud to become a grandmother. Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 37 years, Robert, daughter Keara and husband Joseph Kvoriak, and her first grandchild due in March, brother-in-law Alan Wickman and niece Katherine and husband David Williams and family, best friends, Kenneth and Ruth Langdon, and many other special family members and frends. She was preceded in death by parents, son Sean Bryan Woods, beloved sister, Margaret Mary Wickman, brother Michael Moran, and nephew Michael Krueger.
