Obituary of Phyllis Anderson

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the home of her daughter. The funeral service will take place, 10:00am, Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mrs. Julie Palladeno will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday from 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Phyllis was born January 16, 1933 in Flushing, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard and Edith (Plamondon) Walter. She and Carroll "Andy" G Anderson Jr. were united in marriage September 22, 1978. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Sue (Ronald) Tanner, Deborah (Larry) Lemek, Sandra (Charles) Brown, Sherri (Kraig) Hinrichs, 8 grandchildren, Rebecca (William) Long, Mark (Angela) Tanner, Julie (Rocky) Palladeno, Corey (Hope) Brown, Leslie (Andrea) Brown, Andrew Brown, Phyllis Ann Brown, and John Brown, and great-grandson and caregiver, Kyle, 12 great-grandchildren, twin brother, Howard, brothers, Arthur, and Earl Walter, sister, Lillian Palmer, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andy, and several brothers and sisters. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Raffee and his staff, the American Hospice Care, nurse Barbara, the Your Ride Staff of Mt. Morris, and Helping Hands Senior Day Care.
