Obituary of Danny T. Zappa

Of Flint, age 53, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Brians House Hospice - Davison. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Danny's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to the Krapohl Senior Center. . Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Danny was born May 29, 1957 in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie and Evelyn (Hipkins) Zappa. Danny graduated from Beecher High School Class of 1975; he received his Bachelors Degree from Northwood University in Bay City. Danny worked for General Motors at the Chevy in-the-hole Plant, and was a substitute teacher at various local schools. Danny leaves to cherish his memory, father Bennie; three siblings, Judy (Jerry) Anderson, Bonnie Bruff and Joe Santiago, and Jackie (Barry) Bradley; six nieces and nephews, Stacy (Mike) Hodits, Jerry (Sandi) Bruff, Scott (Gina) Samples, Brandy (Rod) Neill, Michael (Alicia) Bradley and Markie Bradley; five great-nieces and nephews, Sarah, Katie and Zac Bruff, Ryleigh and Jack Neill and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents, two brothers-in-law; David Samples and Jerry Bruff and his beloved mother Evelyn.
