Obituary of Wesley Hutchinson

Of Clio, age 94, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at home. The Funeral Mass will take place 10:00am, Monday, November 29, 2010 at the SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Gerald Ploof will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. WesleyAaas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris on Sunday, from 1:00pm to 9:00pm. On Sunday evening, family, friends and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 6:00pm. On Monday, Wesley will be taken to church to lie in state from 9:00am until time of mass at 10:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Krapohl Senior Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Wesley was born August 15, 1916 in Gagetown, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert and Maryetta (Vyse) Hutchinson. He and Leona Comment were united in marriage April 19, 1941 in Gagetown. Wesley worked for AC in Flint until his retiring in 1981, a member of UAW Local #651 and actively involved at the Krapohl Senior Center for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, boating, carpentry and camping. Wesley leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 69 years Leona; five children; Larry and wife Sandy Hutchinson, Jim and wife Laura Hutchinson, Ilene Parmeter, Geraldine and husband Ray Stein and Norma and husband Jerry Kamyszek, 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Donna Hutchinson, three brothers, one sister and son-in-law, Bill Parmeter.
