Of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Maple Woods Manor. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris; with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. BettyAaas family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. On Monday, from 10:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Gordon R. Bennette VFW Post #1452. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Betty was born August 16, 1925 in Davison, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Gertrude (Wagner) McCormick. She and Clyde Anderson Sr. were united in marriage on April 28. 1945. Clyde preceded her in death on April 21, 1978. Betty worked for the Clio School District until retiring in 1987. She leaves to cherish her memory four children; Daniel and his wife, Karen, Gary and his wife, Jean, Clyde Jr. and his wife, Mary, Sandra and her husband, Richard Erspamer; seven grandchildren, Connie Munson, Melissa Anderson, Aricka Anderson, and Clyde III Anderson, Sara and James Niffennegger, Becky and Adam Brtva; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Victoria Munson; brothers, Charles and his wife, Barbara McCormick and Samuel McCormick; sister-in-law, Louise Anderson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Sr.; son, Richard; sister, Irene Fox; brothers, Max, Rexford and Earl; sister-in-laws, Charlotte McCormick and Mary McCormick; great-granddaughter, Becky Munson.
