Obituary of Bobby Jo Pruett

Of Fort Wayne, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 78, died peacefully at the home of her daughters in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Thursday, February 24th, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. The funeral service will take place 12:00pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Gracelawn Cemetery. Bobby JoAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm.
Bobby Jo was born October 1, 1932 in Gateway, Missouri. She married Joe Lester Pruett and moved to Flint in 1954. Bobby Jo worked for A/C Spark Plug for 25 years before retiring in 1985, and was a member of UAW Local #651. She enjoyed her family, wrestling and traveling.
She is survived by her three children; Debra Pruett of Florence, AZ, Jo Ann Quintanilla of Fort Wayne, IN, and Ronald (Joanna) Pruett of Senath, MO. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Donnie, Corenna, Tony, Bobby, Michael, Justin and Jessie. She had 14 great-grandchildren and special friend Joe Hansen of Flint.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Lester Pruett in 1982.
