Obituary of Kyle Little

Of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at home with his family by his side. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Chaplin Goodman Cox will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery, with Graveside Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #158. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00noon to 8:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Kyle was born November 20, 1929 in Jenkins, Kentucky the son of Shade and Vesta (Little) Anderson He proudly volunteered to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He and Betty Allen were united in marriage on October 14, 1952 in Tacoma, Washington. He worked at GM Ternsteadt Coldwater Road for 30 years, until retiring in 1983. He was a member of UAW Local #326. He also worked for the US Post Office in Mt. Morris for 17 years along with his wife Betty. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 66 in Jenkins, KY, the Masonic Lodge of F&A.M. #517 in Genesee, MI. Kyle leaves to cherish his memory,six children, Deborah and husband Bob Goulette, Kylene and husband Mike Becker, Donald and wife Vicki Little, Michael and wife Laurie Little and Gregory and wife Linda Little, son-in-law, Jim Thomas, 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way, sister, Charlsie Smith, niece, Jama Smith and special lady friend, Debbie Causby. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty, daughter, Christine Thomas, grandson, Michael James Becker.
