Obituary of Rosetta F. Phillips

Of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Esther Irish will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Rosetta's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00am to 9:00pm, Tuesday, from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to Avalon Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rosetta was born May 7, 1927 in Caro, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldron and Amy Lobdell. She and William Dalton Phillips were united in marriage on December 6, 1947. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2000. Rosetta leasves to cherish her memory, five children; Diane M. (Michael) Laurin, Gary (Sara) Phillips, Thomas (Susan) Phillips, Richard E. (Kathy) Phillips, Ramona (Brian) Leach; 27 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; brother, James Burrows and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Dalton, aunt, Elsie Lobdell.
