Obituary of Jaclyn Stratton-Schanick

Of Mt. Morris, age 62, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at home . The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Vadice Burgett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be considered to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jackie was born December 25, 1948 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren and Patricia (Warren) Keiser. She and Michael Schanick were united in marriage in Mt. Morris. She was a loving and devoted mother and mimi who will be forever loved and missed by her family. Jackie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Mike, six children, Steven (Jen) Jones, Tricia Trombley (Len), Joe (Mel) Stratton, Jimmy (Lisa) Stratton, Jay (Sandra) Stratton, and Jen (Vadice) Burgett, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, mother, Patricia Loveland, sisters, Donna Fulkerson (Rich), Marilyn Griffiths-Pent, and Terri (Bernie) Neville, and step mother, Sherry Keiser. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Keiser, son-in-law, Mikey, and brother-in-law, Gerry Pent.
