Obituary of Ruth N Kaufman

Of Flint, age 76, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Brians House Hospice. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian's House Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Ruth was born April 30, 1935 in Hohenwald, Tenessee the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jones and Edith (Webb) Staggs. She and Gilbert Kaufman were united in marriage in Toledo, Ohio, he preceded her in death in 1983. She enjoyed watching Game Show Network and playing BINGO. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Charlotte Papp, Daniel and wife Kammie Kaufman, and Brian and wife Holly Kaufman, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, five sisters, Virginia and husband Johnny Hager, Kaye Pope, Faye Lester, Judy Goller and Brenda Fifer, many nieces and nephews, and special niece and care giver, Debi Iversen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gilbert.
