Obituary of Alberta Christine Thomason

Of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Danny Cavin will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.
Alberta was born March 16, 1930 in Tazwell, Tenesee the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Bernice (Chadwell) Cavin. She and Frank Thomason were united in marriage on August 6, 1953. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Alberta leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Frank, two children, David and wife Susie Thomason, and Toni and husband Bill Szecsodi, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister, Allene Alfaro, and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.
