Obituary of Carmella Elizabeth Blonde

Of Otisville, age 84, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at Angelic Home Care, of Davisburg, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am Monday, September 7, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Pinconning. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. On Sunday evening, family, friends and parish will gather at the funeral home at 7:00pm to pray the Rosary. On Monday morning, Carmella will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Carmella was born September 11, 1924 in Rose Center, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Elizabeth (Kubisak) Evaniec. She and Bernard Earl Blonde were united in marriage January 29,1949 in Pinconning, Michigan. He preceded her in death March 23, 1984. Carmella enjoyed camping with her husband, traveling, going out to dinner with her friends, wintering in Florida, and loved her nieces and nephews as her own. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jocelyn Novotny for the two years of excellent care she gave to our aunt at Angelic Home Care. Left to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews. Carmella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard, two sisters; Adeline and Donna, and a brother, Norman.
