Of Vassar, age 84, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at her home. The funeral service will take place 10:30am, Thursday, September 24, 2009, at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor David Wermuth will officiate with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00am until the time of service at 10:30am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Vassar Ambulance Service. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Enid was born June 28, 1925 in Elkton, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Sarah (Deviney) Severn. She and Cecil Langley were united in marriage on April 27, 1946. Enid enjoyed many things; reading, playing cards, and especially her cats Buddy and Shadow. Enid leaves to cherish her memory her children; Linda Langley of Vassar, MI, George Langley of Riverside, CA, and Randy Langley of Lynnwood, WA. Grandchildren; Michael Langley of Milwaukie, OR, Phillip and his wife Mary Langley of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Eric and his wife Mihaela Zick of Redmond, WA, and Mark Langley of Edmonds, WA. Great-grandchildren; Olivia Langley, Maya Zick, and step-great-grandchild; Emma George. Sisters; Doris Thompson of Beverly Hills FL, and Avis Ponton of Lynchburg, VA. Enid was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Cecil, brothers; Walter, Wilbur and Neil. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home, or online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.
