Age 83, of Flint, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Avalon Hospice in Flint. Funeral service will be held 12:00pm Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris Rev. Charles Peck officiating with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends 4:00pm - 9:00 pm Friday and from 10:00am Saturday until time of the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Erma Peter family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\

Erma was born July 16, 1922 in Pontiac the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney and Mae (Calendar) Proper. She worked for Fisher Body Coldwater Road as an inspector and retired in 1979. \

Surviving are 4 children, Roger and wife, Stephany Peter of Clarkston, Clifton and wife Linda Peter of Flushing, Beverly Schaffer and fiancA James Bronson of Flint, Debra Lee DeMell of Florida; 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Bernard.\
