Obituary of Mary Catherine Cline

Of Mt. Morris, age 91, died Friday, October 30, 2009, at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint. Rev. Fr. Anthony P. Majchrowski will officiate with burial to follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 1, 2009, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. On Monday visitation will be held from 11:00am until 3:00pm, and then from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, a Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00pm. On Tuesday Mary will be taken to church to lie in state from 9:00am until the time of service at 10:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the All Saints Catholic Church, or Masses can be offered in her name. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Mary was born January 18, 1918 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew and Rose (Szydlowski) Blaszkowski. She and Harold Cline were united in marriage in 1948. Mary worked at AC Spark Plug as a final inspector for 34 years, retiring in 1974. She belonged to the Rosary Society, Altar Society, Blue Army Cell #5, Krapohl Senior Center of Mt. Morris and UAW Local #651. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her brother; Bernard Blaszkowski, nephew; John Bednarski, great-nephew; Tim and his wife Melanie Bednarski, great-niece, Becky Bednarski, as well as close nieces nephews and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, parents, three sisters; Frances and Helen Blaszkowski, Bernice Bednarski, brothers; Frank and wife Dorothy and Stanley Blaszkowski, sister-in-law; Grace Blaszkowski.
