Obituary of Vivian Lorene Fetterhoff

FETTERHOFF, Vivian Lorene Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 79, died Friday August 25, 2006 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Vivianas funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Garfield Cooper will officiate with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Vivianas family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and on Monday from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Mt. Morris Church of Christ Building Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Vivian was born May 6, 1927 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Neva (Leathers) Schofield. As a young woman she began a career at AC Spark Plug where she worked as an assembler for 36 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Mt. Morris Church of Christ and was very devoted to her family, especially her granddaughters. Left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Kimi and husband Jerry Vail, two granddaughters, Ashley A. Herriman and Alyssa L. Herriman, a great-granddaughter, Elleanna McKay, a sister, Ruth Tracy, two brothers, Max and wife Mary Schofield and Wendy and wife Evelyn Schofield and many nieces, nephews and friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Schofield. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lois Leathers and Sharon Schafer for their care, compassion and support over the past several months.
