Obituary of Sharri Lee Crawford

Of Mt. Morris, age 71, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett officiating with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. SharriAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sharri was born August 14, 1938 in Omer, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Betty (Dyer) Sheff. She and George W. Crawford were united in marriage September 6, 1986 in Mt. Morris. Sharri enjoyed cooking, her collection of Precious Moments and loved watching her granddaughters grow up. She will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 23 years, George, two daughters; Kendra and husband Bob Meuhlen of Mt. Morris and Janell and husband Tim Phillips of Angola, Indiana, three granddaughters; Nicole and Amanda Meuhlen and Devyn Phillips, mother, Betty Vannest, brother, Randy and wife Veronica Moore, stepbrother, Raymond and wife Marsha Moore, special daughter and granddaughter, Toni and Jessica Day, and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather and grandparents.
