Obituary of Judy Ann Wallace
Age 81, of Clio, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Serenity Assisted Living. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Bishop Robert Henson to officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Judy’s family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be directed to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Judy was born in Long Beach, California, on July 20, 1941, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard and Maybell (Pritchett) Grove. She attended Carmen Ainsworth High School. Judy worked as a caregiver for many years until her retirement in 2008. A long-time member of South Flint Tabernacle, Judy faithfully attended church. In her free time, Judy enjoyed spending time with her cats, listening to country music, and doing needlepoint. Judy also loved to shop! She loved browsing the clothing section of stores. An avid reader, Judy loved reading Danielle Steele's romance novels. Well-known for her love of Diet Coke and tomatoes, Judy would eat tomatoes like they were an apple. She also enjoyed a good BBQ rib! Most importantly, Judy cherished her family and ensured they knew she loved them.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her children: Raymond Wallace, William and Pokhiu, Wallace, Tracy and wife, Pauline Wallace, Norma and husband, James Tilton, Kimberly and husband, Randy Lamb; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one due in November; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: John, Wilma, Carol, and Betty; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Wallace.
