Obituary of Leo Elmer White
Age 86, of Flint, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Hurley Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will take place 11:00 am, Monday, March 19, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Jim Garfield will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Leo was born March 11, 1932, in Flint, Michigan to the late Mr. and Mrs. Loyd and Viola (Fox) White. Leo was a truck driver for General Motors Fisher Body plant for 37 years, before retiring in 1987. He married the love of his life, Margaret on December 31, 1950. Sadly, she preceded him in death on September 12, 2017. In his free time, Leo enjoyed keeping busy by building houses, traveling, and flying his airplane. He will be truly missed by family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory; son: Leo and wife, Sue White; son-in-law, Michael (Pam) Shaw; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, parents, daughter, Bonnie and five siblings.
