Obituary of Patricia Ann Snyder
Snyder, Patricia Ann was taken to heaven by the angels early in the morning on March 7, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. William Wegher will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. You can help Pat finish her journey by visiting Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Friday evening we will gather to pray the rosary at 6:00 pm, following the rosary, will be time to honor Pat with stories of special memories. Pat will be taken to church Saturday morning where you can visit from 10:00 am until the time of funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to St. Mary Catholic School.
Pat was born on March 6, 1935, to Burdette “Joe” and Madeline (Charron) Herman. She married Clarence “Snick” Snyder in 1957. Pat worked for General Motors for 34 years and was able to retire in 1984. She enjoyed many winters with Snick in Fort Myers golfing and playing shuffleboard. Pat was a selfless person and always put others first. She loved to bake, watch the Detroit Tigers, and attend sporting events of her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and will always be in the hearts of her three children: Jackie and her husband, Joe McDermaid, Kim and her husband Roy Webber, Tom and his wife Carole Snyder; brother: Robert Herman; brother-in-law: Henry Snyder; five grandchildren: Tracy, Tim, Becky, Brody, Ryan; six great-grandchildren: Blake, Ava, Payton, Brynlee, Ellery, Alexis; several nieces, nephews, many friends, and special lifelong friend Donna Maidment.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bernard, Jerome, and Johnny.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to the ICU and hospice staff at McLaren-Flint. Special hugs go to Teresa Herman and Becky Neumann who helped Pat finish her journey in a peaceful manner.
