Of Flint, age 55, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Sister Judy Blake will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on June 28, 2011 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm. Those desiring, direct memorial contributions to the Humane Society and American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Geralyn "Jeri" was born July 17, 1955 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn and Vera (Funsch) Ahl.
Jeri graduated from Kearsley High School in 1973. She then went on to work for General Motors in assembly for 30 years, retiring in 2006.
Jeri leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Stefanie Ahl; son, Philip "PJ" Johnson; brother, David and wife, Becky Ahl; cherished friend, Joe McPhilimy; nieces, Emily and husband, Mark Orsburn and Rachel and husband, Matt Woolworth; beloved cats, Blaze, Mattie, Emmy, and Rosy; and several friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many friends.
