Obituary of James W. Bradley

Of Thetford Township, age 61, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at home. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and then on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. James was born July 22, 1949 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Doris (Bobb) Bradley. He and Gale Bindschatel were united in marriage on September 25, 1971. Jim started a family business in the early 80's, "Jim's Pump Service," which is still currently in business. He was a fun-loving man with a great sense of humor who loved to make everyone laugh and smile. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, riding his motorcycle with family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone. Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 39 years, Gale; son, James "Jay" and wife, Jenn; daughter, Becky and husband, Mike Vida; five grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Garrett, Trevor, and Harleigh; one brother, Bob and wife, Marsha; one sister, Linda and husband, Ken Elston; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and best friend, Rocky Hernandez.
