Of Akron, age 22, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 23, 2011. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Martin Funeral Home - Fairgrove. Pastor Dorothy Thom will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Alexandria "Alexis" was born November 16, 1988 in Bay City, Michigan the daughter of Tamela Steiner and Guillermo Castanon. Alexis will be remembered for being witty, outgoing, and colorful. She deeply loved her children; Alexis will be greatly missed.
Alexis leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Tamela; two children, Riyu Curry and Vanity Rouge; three sisters, Christina, Dina, and Raquel; brother, Andres; grandparents, Charles and Sarah Steiner; four nieces; four nephews; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents and friend, January Curry.
