Obituary of Sharon Kay Beck

Of Mt. Morris, age 67, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at her home. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place 11:00 am, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, at a later date. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sharon was born August 1, 1944 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Irene (Anguilm) Beck. Sharon worked at Saginaw Steering Gear-Delphi for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She loved running in the Crim Races every year, for the last 8 years. She and Hope traveled up north, where ever and whenever they could go. Later, they enjoyed staying at home with Chloe and Amber, the poodles. Further, she enjoyed a good meal, with good friends. Left to cherish her memory are her partner of 27 years, Hope; cousin, Carole and husband, Jerry Pasek; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maryhelen; and brother, Harold.
