Obituary of Rose Marie Berry

Of Mt. Morris, age 79, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Alonzo Vincent will officiate with a private burial to follow in Davison Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rose was born January 17, 1933, in Mayville, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Beulah (Harrison) Dunn. Rose Marie started working at the age of 17. She stayed in the secretarial position and was most proud of working for Downtown Flint Citizens Bank and Flint City Schools, Human Resources. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her grandchildren, family and friends. Further, she was deeply committed to her intercessory prayer ministry. Left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Francine and husband, Sim Boggs; three grandchildren, Brooke Hoover, Danny Norton and Kaitlin Norton; very special cousins, Elmer Caryl and De-An McDaniel and their families; and she was blessed with many other loving family members and friends. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Dunn; and very special cousin, Hannah Kauffman.
