Obituary of Margaret A. Watson

Of Mt. Morris, age 70, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, at home. The funeral service will take place 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Ted Jay Stephens will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am.
Margaret was born August 28, 1941, in Tyronza, Arkansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Hester (Hindman) Shaver. She and Allie L. Watson were united in marriage May 13, 1961, in Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed reading a variety of books and writing letters.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Allie; brother, James C. and wife, Barbara Shaver; brothers-in-law, Velden Watson, Erwin Watson, and Frank and wife, Gloria Watson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmie Paul Watson; and sisters-in-law, Jean Wellman, Corrina Slavik, and Janet Watson; and parents-in-law, Lloyd and Jessie Watson.
