Obituary of Mark Morrow

Of Flushing, age 55, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at his home. The funeral service will take place 7:00 pm, Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Chaplain Jim Salo will officiate with cremation to follow. Mark's family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, Friday from 11;00 am until time of service at 7:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mark was born January 25, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Patsy (King) Morrow. His family moved to Burton in 1963 where he attended Bendle Schools. Mark worked for General Motors for many years before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, race cars, riding motorcycles and singing Karaoke. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Karen, parents, John (Pat) Morrow, four children, Denver (George) Collett, Preston, Jesse, Mara and Kara Morrow; step-children, Paul (Heather) David, Robert (Amanda) Brewer and David (Jeni) Brewer; two grandchildren, Tyler and Rylie Collett; eight step-grandchildren, Alyssa, David, Brendon, Noah, Ica, Robert, Meadow and Gracie; two siblings, Lisa (Jim) Malcomnson and Tim (Vicky) Morrow; three sisters-in-law, Becky (Terry) Ranney, Wendy Robbins and Jim Reif and Terrie (Dewayne) Harris; two brothers-in-law, Marvin (Betty) Titmus and Richard Titmus; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brandy Bowman for all the care she gave.
