Of Swartz Creek, age 50, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Avalon Hospice. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bill was born March 3, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Virginia (Joseph) Thomas. He and Cheryl L Denty were united in marriage October 6, 2001, in Flushing. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing baseball and going to garage sales and flea markets. Bill owned and operated his own handy man business, along with an E-bay store. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; three children, Heather, Haley and Jorden and wife, Gina; granddaughter, Arianna; mother, Virginia Thomas; brother, Raymond Thomas; sisters, Robin Thomas, Gigi (Jim) Oros and Diana Auch; mother and father-in-law, Marilyn and Larry Denty; and many loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Casey, father, Louis; and sister, Donna.
