Obituary of Amy Vargo

Of Saginaw, age 68, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. Mary Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church. Pastor Daniel Gonder will officiate. The family will be present to receive friends at the church fellowship hall from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the church. Amy was born March 28, 1944, in Lemon, South Dakota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Annie (Haugen) Hoar. She and William H. Vargo were united in marriage May 15, 1964; he preceded her in death in 1992. Amy enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing, as well as helping family members; she will be greatly missed. Amy leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, William R. Vargo and Robert and wife, Kim Vargo; mother, Annie; mother-in-law, Henrietta Vargo; nine grandchildren, Cassandra, Donna, Leonard, Briana, Savannah, Christina, Brittanie, Kayla, and Ethan; one great-grandson, James; two brothers; two sisters; two sisters-in-law; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; husband of 28 years, William H.; father-in-law, William; and two brothers-in-law, Richard and Bill.
