Obituary of Jerry Fredell

Of Clio/Mt. Morris, age 63, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Crestmont Health Care Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Monday, April 16, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Monday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jerry "Cooze" was born March 29, 1949, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle and Pauline (Spore) Fredell. Jerry worked in the grocery business for 40 years, for both Kroger and Kessel until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, four siblings, Louie Fredell, Tom and wife, Jennifer Fredell, William "Billy" Fredell and Nancy and husband, Rick Laurin; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lyle "Butch" and sister, Carol Ann.
