Obituary of David Munger

Of Mt. Morris, age 26, died unexpectedly from a motorcycle accident, Thursday, May 24, 2012. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday May 30, 2012 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. David was born April 17, 1986, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Margaret (Shultz) Munger. David grew up in Mt. Morris, Michigan, and graduated from Elizabeth Ann Johnson Memorial High School with the Class of 2005. He then went on to Michigan Career and Technical Institute and earned a degree in Industrial Environment, graduating with the Class of 2007. He proudly worked for Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools as a custodian. David enjoyed his dango dirtbike, his Harley, bike rides with his friends, playing pool, and listening to loud music while drinking his Johnny Walker and Coca~Cola. David leaves to cherish his memory, are his father, Michael; four sisters, Stephanie Munger, Christina McCarthy, Kimberly Munger, and Carrie Munger; one brother, Benjamin Munger; step-sister, Destinie Bearup; grandmothers, Lorriane Munger and Jean Shultz; five nieces, Josie Freeman, Charley Letson, Sophia McCarthy, Simone Munger, and Cali Ann Munger; two nephews, Jaylen Munger and Shane Crane, Jr.; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Peggy" Munger, two brothers, Matthew Munger and Michael Munger, Jr.; grandfathers, Edward Munger and Thomas Shultz; and father's girlfriend, Ann Bearup.
