Of Durand, Michigan, formally of Mt. Morris, Michigan, age 66, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 5, 2012, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. John Barta will officiate. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Donald "Don" was born December 4, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Leah (Maule) Kosiba. He and Sherry Presnull were united in marriage April 15, 1966. Don was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hockey and carpentry. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherry Kosiba; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Les Schmier of Knoxville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Donald James Kosiba II (Jamey) and Shannon Kosiba; grandchildren, Andrew, Nina, DJ, Savannah, Matthew, Jack and Allie; great-granddaughter, Ava; brothers, Walter and Henry Kosiba; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Claude and Juanita Presnull and their families. Don was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kosiba and parents, Walter and Leah Kosiba.
