Obituary of Michael C. Clement

Of Mt. Morris, age 78, died Monday, September 17, 2012, at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, September 21, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Minister Jimmy Bagwell will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Michael's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Michael was born March 26, 1934, in Garden, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Lula May (Curry) Clement. He worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, spending time outdoors, automobile repair, recycling and lawn care. Left to cherish his memory, five children; Lisa (Philip) Elder, Jackie Kaiser, Brenda (Donald) Cardiff, Michael (Denise) Clement, David (Melissa) Berlanga; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings; James, Morris, Lucy and Lauralee; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mabel.
