LEWIS, Lura F., age 91, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Maplewoods Manor in Clio, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau officiating with burial following in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends Friday from 5:00pm - 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kraphol Senior Citizen Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Lura was born July 29, 1915 in Webster, Wisconsin, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles and Ida (Dickinson) Kimball. She and Lloyd B. Lewis were united in marriage on June 8, 1935 in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1978. She was employed with the former Yankee Store at Pierson and Clio Road area and also with the YMCA in their cafeteria from 1966 - 1972. \ \ Left to cherish Luraas memory are her children, Joann and husband, Richard Bennett of Ocala, FL., Gordon and wife Sandy Lewis of Clio, Diane and husband, Eldon Prosch of Otisville, Darclene and husband, David Leonardson of Gaylord; 20 grandchildren; 35 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Byrnes of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. \ \ Lura was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; son Charles and wife Monica Lewis; 4 brothers, Keith, Carl, Steve and Don; sister, Margaret Christner.\ \ Friends may share memories, prayers, and stories at the funeral home and online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.\
