Marcella “Marcy” was born in Joplin, Missouri, on May 3, 1936, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey and Melba Brown. She met and married the love of her life, Robert Knoblauch, on November 28, 1959. Sadly, he preceded her in death on January 15, 2010. Marcy was an avid bowler in the winter months, and often bowled three times a week on different leagues since 1959. She would travel all over, attending tournaments. Her Monday night bowling league has renamed their team the Marcy Knoblauch League. In the summer months, Marcy could be found on the golf course. She loved them all but often played on Beechwood Greens and Vienna Greens. Marcy was a very spiritual woman and was a member of Calvary Community Church. She enjoyed going to church, and if she missed a Sunday, she was off for the rest of the week. Marcy enjoyed traveling and has fond memories of her trips to Florida and the Mackinac Bridge, but her favorite trip was when she went to California and was on the game show Let’s Make a Deal with Bob Barker. Marcy was known for her crazy socks. She loved to mix and match them. The brighter the color, the better. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and tending to her hostas. She was a lover of all animals, but her cats were by far her favorite, with Paco being her all-time best cat. She took in all the strays in the neighborhood and made sure they were well taken care of. Marcy loved her family and loved to spend as much time with them as she could. Her children and grandchildren were the loves of her life. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Marcy's memory are her son, Brian and wife, Debbie Hale; grandchildren: Jamie, Johnny and wife, Ashley, BJ, Angel; sisters: Gloria, and Diane; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Marcy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert; her parents; son, Victor Hale; sister, Barb; brother, Ronnie.
