Constance “Connie” was born in Mt. Morris on August 16, 1938, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Vina (Stringer) Dehner. Educated locally, she graduated from St Mary's Catholic School with the Class of 1956. Connie met and married, William Norris, on May 19, 1978. Sadly, he preceded her in death on July 22, 2003. Connie worked in the medical field as a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years. She was a proud member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Connie enjoyed being outside, whether it was taking her grandchildren camping every year to Mackinac City and all around the Upper Peninsula, spending time at her home away from home on Secord Lake in Gladwin, or sitting outside looking at the beautiful flowers and cardinals all around. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her beloved husband, Bill, at their winter home in Key Largo, Florida. One of Connie’s favorite pastimes was getting together with her family, or as she called them, “A Doings” for any reason. Connie had a love for anything red, but bright red flowers were her favorite. In her free time, Connie enjoyed art and oil painting, and she loved to sing and spend time with all animals. She never met an animal she didn’t like. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Connie's memory are her children: Dewey and wife, Christen Taylor, Deborah Atwell-Blasdell, Denise and husband, Steve Gruener; grandchildren: Tiffanie and husband, Curt Winnie, Lindsey and husband, Dave Nyholm, Nathan and wife, Stacy Atwell, Hannah Atwell, Bayli and husband, Mike Ragsdale, Luke and wife, Gracie Stearns; great-grandchildren: Violet, Zander, Cooper, Gracie, Maddox, Hendrix, Micky, Reid, Drake; brother, Dwight and wife, Kathy Dehner; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Connie's family would like to express their sincerest thanks to the Promedica Hospice Team as well as their friends, Sharon and Deb, for the love and care they helped provide for our mother.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Norris, and her parents.
