Obituary of Shirley Edith Witten
Shirley Edith Witten, 92, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at home with her family by her side. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mount Morris. Shirley's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00, pm with a VFW Auxiliary Memorial ceremony commencing beforehand at 1:30 pm. Flowers are welcome, or, memorial contributions may be considered to the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post #1452, 10380 N Saginaw Rd., Clio, Michigan 48420. Left to cherish Shirley's memory are her children, Connie and Chuck, "bonus” daughter, Mary, grandson, Greg, sister, Elaine, sister-in-law, Kay, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Witten, former husband Clarence Rachar, and dear friend Linda Armour.
