Obituary of Patrocinio Ramos
Age 74, of Flint, died Sunday, October 9, 2022 at McLaren Flint. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. J.B.’s family will be present to receive friends for visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Patrocinio “J.B.”, was born June 1, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcos and Adela (Guerrero) Ramos. J.B. started his career at Fisher Body, and went on to retire from General Motors Flint Engine after 32 years of service. On January 2, 1975, J.B. married Eva Gonzalez in Flint, MI. Their happy union would be blessed with five children. J.B loved boxing, and was active in the Chicago boxing scene. He was an avid pool player as well. J.B. was always well-dressed, with an incredible sense of style. He was well-loved and respected by all who knew him. J.B.’s favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren, in any way he could. Going to the movies with his grandkids was a special treat. J.B. will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Eva; children Jesse and wife Eva, Ramos, Raquel Ramos, Patrocinio "Shorty" Ramos, Nicolasa and husband, Luis Viscaino, Antonio and wife, Jodi Ramos; grandchildren, Alejandro, Jessica, Antonio, Marcos, Javier, Emmalee, Santino; siblings, Lucio, Linda, Jesse; and several extended family members.
Patrocinio was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Mary.
